I was admitted for Spring 2016 and unlike some other people have said, my letter does not mention me being put on a waitlist. Could I called admissions and ask if I could be put on some kind of waitlist? I REALLY want to start in the fall… I’m very confused because all my friends have lower stats than me and were admitted for fall… Thanks
I was also admitted for Spring 2016, but I was put on the waitlist for fall. I didn’t know that not everyone was put on the waitlist. You can always do Freshmen Connection, which is what I’m going to do. On-campus housing is guaranteed this year. You could probably call admissions and ask about why you weren’t put on the waitlist, though.
It happened to me last year. Freshman Connection is your option if you want to take classes before the spring.

Freshman Connection Cons - you have later classes
- You cannot play Division I sports
FC Pros - You get to live in a dorm on campus
- You get to have a meal plan
- You can attend athletic events, football games, etc…
- You get to attend social events
- You get to attend parties…
- No cares that you are in Freshman connection
- You get to start you college life in Fall 2015, just like everyone else
