D is spending the first half of her spring break at the condo of a friend’s grandparents in Florida. She would like to bring a host gift for the grandparents that would travel well and (if needed to be in the checked bag) not take up much room. Any suggestions would be appreciated…THANKS!

Do you have any idea how old the grandparents are? (Young grandparents in their 60’s/early 70’s or older grandparents…80-85+)?

If anything like my mother…she doesn’t want more “stuff”. So…something consumable is the best. Something they might not buy themselves…like fancy coffee or tea (Tea Forte makes nice very unique tea and tea bags and can be found at nicer gift shops or online).

If it’s a hassle for her to bring something in her suitcase, she can bring a nice card and pick up a plant or some flowers when she’s there.
