Spring Classes

Is Sindhikara for PHY2053 really as bad as he sounds?

I looked at the schedule of courses and the instructors for 2053 were Buchler and Mitselmakher. Not sure where you saw Sindhikara.

My friends are taking comparative politics right now and it doesnt sound like an easy class. Averages for the tests have been low, the content itself doenst seem that interesting either.

Public speaking is an easy class. A bunch of athletes take it as well, so its pretty easy.

try to get Uttaro rather than Kraus for CPO 2001. It may be early in the morning (2nd/3rd period), but Uttaro is a better professor (I’ve heard that Krause is a tough grader and a grad student whose lectures are all over the place) and he curves all of the tests like crazy. pretty easy A.

btw, has anyone here taken INR 3102 (US and World Affairs) with Nolan?

The Gower I was referring to is Jeff Gower…
I’ve read his rating on ratemyprof. And he seems to be a good teacher, but then again he only has 9 evaluations and theyre all good so Im a little apprehensive as to accepting those opinions.
Also, kristendotcom, is your friend taking CPO2001 with Uttaro? The class is signed up for is with Uttaro and I’ve heard pretty good things about taking comp. politics with him….
As always- Thanks for your opinions!

any suggestions for an easy physical science? i switched majors this semester from business to hospitality. i have a pretty easy schedule so far…3 online classes.

SYG2000
ENC1101
ECON2023
FOS2001
WIS2040
GLY1102 (?)

yeah, I had the wrong professor as well as the wrong course.

I took Age of the Dinos/ GLY 1102 and Geology/ GLY 1000 (aka Rocks for Jocks) this semester. Both are very easy physical science classes.

Physical Geology is pretty easy as well and its 4 credits because its a lab as well.

With the Comparitive politics thing I second what AmandaisaGator said, my friend actually wound up dropping the class she had with Krauss cause she was doing so poorly and she had put a lot of effort into that class.

OK, so next semester I’m taking:
CPO 2001 with Uttarro
POS 4931 (Women and Politics in Israel) with Woods
SPN 2240 with ?
MEL 4601- easy online course about eating disorders.

has anyone here taken any of these classes or had any of these teachers? thanks!

How is about
ENC2210 (tech writing)
EEX3312 (Exceptional People)
PEM 2132 (advanced weight training)
STA2023 (Intro to Stats) (online)
AEE3030c (Oral communication)
MEL 4011 (Intro to Med Professions) (online)

4 of these courses are Not available right now (all but stat and mel)… how likely is it that seats will open during drop/add? is it possible that seats willl open sooner?

for those courses specifically

Tech writing, I think, will be the hardest to get into. It took me many week of checking ISIS to get in. I personally didn’t get in until after school started.

D is trying to get into SPC2600 or ORI 2000 (one or the other is required for her major) and both are closed or don’t fit her schedule. She may need to wait till drop/add to get in (if at all).

I took Enc1101 and now for spring i want to take enc2210 instead of enc1102, all the seats are gone. I am premed and have credit for aml2070 can i just use that credit instead of taking 1102 or would it be better tot take another composition course. And how is HSC3531 easy or hard? time consuming?

They might have a few seats reserved for spring transfers but mostly they are all gone. You just have to sit on ISIS and check frequently. It was one of the hardest class for me to get into to.

You can use it. Its up to you if you want to take another comp class.

I heard it’s easy; its just memorizing a bunch of words from what I hear. Have you consider the HSC5XXX version of the course? I heard its not that much harder.
