Spring/Fall 2016 Transfer Thread

@CPC88 to be considered for admission to engineering you have to show completion of of Calculus II and Engineering (Calculus based) Physics I, so if you didn’t update your application showing completion of those courses you were denied categorically for not meeting the minimum requirements to apply.

I took Cal II and EP I in the spring and updated my application with my spring transcripts as soon as the semester was over. My application had pretty much been on hold till I got my spring transcripts in, but after submitting the transcripts I was accepted in about two weeks.

Admission to engineering is very competitive and there are a limited number of seats, so if your appeal was not submitted before all the seats were filled the strength of your application wouldn’t have mattered because there was simply no more room.

To anyone reading through this thread, if you are looking to apply to UT it is very important to understand the minimum requirements to apply to the specific program you want to get into. It sucks to work hard maintaining a good GPA and get denied over clerical BS.
