Wow…the technical GPA cutoff to internally transfer into MechEng was a 3.98. That’s insane.

Just signed up for CC…Been following this blog, and I can’t wait to hear from UT. I applied for transfer to Biomedical Engineering from Austin Community College. I have a 4.0 GPA, I sent in 55 credits, but I have 69 total when you include the last spring semester. I did 3 essays and sent in 1 LOR. I was accepted to Texas A&M back in March, but I live in Austin and would like to stay close to home. Do you guys think I have a good shot? I am still in review on MyStatus.
Yes!! @LostTraveler … Does someone know if admissions are still being released? I’m starting to feel they haven’t sent any decisions these last few days…
@jimpgz123 haha, yes admissions are still being released. It isn’t as if they would just leave some people hanging. We should all find out within the next two weeks.
@LostTraveler you have as good of a shot as any if you finished all the prereqs. I think at that point it just comes down to space available in the program. But I would feel confident if I was you
@jimpgz123 I updated the list last night. Psychology, COLA Undeclared and Urban Studies sent out answers. And I think that all of the colleges (I know for sure about COE) has sent out the internal transfer decisions. Today is the last day for CAP students to send in their transcripts so everyone who hasn’t gotten an answer yet is all in the same pool now.

My application finally updated to complete and is now in review. Admissions received my final transcript last Monday. Fingers crossed. I’m so anxious.
I just wish my application said “in review” instead of complete. I heard CAP students will hear something back by the 14th or 15th which is when I leave for Las Vegas that’s excited I guess lol
Anybody as an applied learning and development major heard a decision back?
