I saw on my FB “on this day” that my CAP son heard back from ME on 5/23 in 2012. I was so hopeful more of you would hear earlier!
Interesting. Sounds like they don’t really have preference in decision date for any subset of an external transfer. Their external transfer review timeline is seemingly random.
Only trend I’ve seen is that COLA tends to release decisions the quickest. IIRC, of all the under 30 hr applicants, the only ones that have posted here that they’ve heard back have been COLA majors.
do you guys think that cola has released all their acceptances or most of them, bc im over 30 hrs and still waiting for any answer, and i think people with under 30 got an answer from cola yesterday. Has there been any new acceptances today? Anyone else waiting for cola? Im just so anxious. The waiting game is so taxing.

@blue1996 I don’t think so… because I am also COLA with more than 30 hours and I am still waiting (my sister is 40 hours and my brother is 60 and both are cola) and all of us are still waiting -_-
@blue1996 I’m COLA 2nd choice. Been in review forever and still waiting with 60 hrs.

Yeah I and others have been getting the green line at random times since we all went into review back in March. Who knows what it means, but I definitely had a heart attack when it happened for the first time…

@techfan741 It was just something I heard from a friend. I’m kinda just taking it with a grain of salt and not really expecting to hear anything until then. However I heard COLA would release their admissions between the last few weeks of may and early June, and all the other schools would release their decisions in June. I don’t know these are all speculations.
@Haley23 I’ve seen it too!! I don’t know what it means… I don’t know if it means that they are literally reviewing our application…
@DestineeMoreh Oh, I see. It makes sense though. It’s probably better to just assume their decision will come on the last day possible. At the very least, it settles anxiety a little bit haha
CAP student from UTA here. ended with a 4.0 and transferring to Petroleum Engineering at UT. The wait is really killing me now. Anyone get their acceptance yet?
@parthp97 Kind of in a similar boat as you. CAP student from UTA & I applied to Cockrell for mech eng and just went into review today! I think CAP students who applied to Cockrell as their non-guaranteed major should be finding their applications in review this week.
@parthp97 @cherry018 I was a CAP student at UTA as well. I applied to Computer Science, and I’m not in review yet.
