@Newsie2015 how did you submit a film? Our understanding after talking to the asst Dean was that portfolios were not submitted? I talked to several people who have kids in the program and most said they came in with no experience but I don’t know if that applies to transfers.
@rach98n I went down for Bevo Day last year. They said that it isn’t unheard of to submit a portfolio but it’s not that big of a deal since Moody doesn’t see RTF applicants anyway, only the general adcoms do. I honestly just posted a link to a youtube video at the end of my essay.
I remember them saying that experience isn’t that big of a deal for freshmen (they never specified in regards to transfers). Camera equipment is expensive and not all schools have programs where students can use cameras or gain experience.
