I think external has less seats compared to internal so around 60 people will be accepted for Mccombs and the GPA cut off would be around 3.9 or maybe less hopefully
Anybody still waiting on an answer from COE?
@angel1123 me!!!
@texas759 It was automatic for me! That’s what caught me by surprise - I was so used to having to click on “view details” and when I logged on that last time it took me automatically to where it showed my acceptance!
Is anyone waiting on Moody that isn’t CAP specifically Speech Pathology or COE who isn’t CAP?
I am waiting on COE too, just finished my 30 hours this spring semester.
@longhornmg me haha for Moody but RTF
@TexasLonghorn12 I am thinking that everyone above 3.9 should get in hopefully, but you never know with the way McCombs is.
I’m COE not CAP, and they needed my spring transcript to make a decision
Also waiting on COE and not CAP. What is your gpa?
@Zohaibk 4.0 with 45 hours, 4 LOR, 3 essays. What major are you hoping to get?
So I have a 4.0 transferring from ACC with 32 hours of credit, I applied to economics in liberal arts and my application is still in review as of now. My essays were decent and I had one letter of recommendation from a professor who attended UT but currently teaches at ACC. Anyways I’m getting a lot of anxiety waiting for the decision and just thought I’d share that. I’ll let you guys know what happens when I find out!
ya around 3.89-3.9 is prolly the cut off. I am really nervous about this hopefully we get in
@tonyromo123
At least you external transfer people get an “in review” page. My internal transfer page to McCombs has been the exact same thing since I applied in March
lol maybe they are reviewing and just forgetting to update the status.
@mcs1996 I applied for applied learning and development. What about you? My gpa is a 3.5. Do you think I have a chance?
and also for external transfer to Mccombs, It has prerequisite calculus 1 and 2. But you can also take business calc but UT says its recommended that you take calculus because its similar to their calculus and UT doesnt have business calculus. It might be a factor. I am just asking not scaring lol
@Zohaibk My first choice is health promotion and my second choice is applied movement science! I think you have a good shot. It looks like some people who already had their 30 hours at the time of the March deadline were accepted into COE with a 3.5!
@texasut434 ohh you will get in. You have good GPA and by any chance was the professor Kumassah who teaches economics?
I hope so and nah it was actually an Art History Professor lol
