@TexasLonghorn12 All colleges at UT are difficult to get into tbh. From what I’ve seen and heard Nursing takes a more holistic view compares to Mccombs and Comp sci. who pretty much just care about GPA. Nursing is hard to get into because they take waaaay less students compared to other programs.

For those under 30 credits waiting for COE, should hear back around the 16th. That’s when they released all decisions last year! I applied last year got accepted and didn’t go, and reapplied this year as sophomore and got in again! Best of luck and hope to see y’all at orientation!

I just realized the major I put on my apply Texas app is different then the one I put on UTs app, do you think that matters?

@ameerica what you mean? You did Apply Texas to apply for UT so what you put there goes to my status.
So last year Moody sent out a wave on the 15 and some on the morning of the 16. Mccombs and CNS sent out a wave on the 16-17. It seems that everyone that was still waiting after then was nursing, CNS or mccombs and a few Moody majors. Then a wave came out on the 24-25 and most got into COLA undeclared despite that major not being their second or first choice.
don’t all the decisions have to be back by the 15th though?
They say that but ya most of them are released before 15th but some are released after too. I think all will release before 15, as we seen many decisions were released last week.

@masontaylor not sure where Longhorn is getting his info. I just googled and mentioned what I found/people’s personal experiences. I think people like to hype the difficulty of Engineering and Mccombs bc they’re the most popular but all the colleges are hard to get into. I wouldn’t worry too much though.

@ameerica When my daughter did her Apply Texas she accidentally put the wrong major first. She didn’t notice until it was submitted and then changed it through the UT site right away. Is that what you mean? I have thought the same - hope it doesn’t hurt her chances.
how long did it take for yall to get your FA package? and when did it say the money would release?
@rach98n yea that’s what happened to me as well.
@Newsie2015 I got my FA package about a day after I was admitted.
Does anyone know if the July 14-15 transfer orientation is still open? I am CAP Economics and have yet to receive my acceptance.
