Hey guys, I’ve been following this thread for a while but just recently made an account. I’m still waiting for a response so I’m getting super anxious! My first choice is Mechanical Engineering and my second choice is Electrical Engineering. My stats are 4.0 GPA, 39 hours, Texas resident, transferring from ACC.

Ok I just got off the phone from UT. They’re saying that if you don’t hear back by Friday 4 PM, to call them. The lady I talked to was really nice actually. She was apologetic about the situation but expressed that she can’t really do anything. I was also told that your My Status could update well into the middle of the night. Best of luck everyone, I’m still in fucking review and I doubt I’ll hear anything back by July.

Hi there!! This is my very first time every posting on this discussion forum (I literally just my an account, although I have been following this forum for a very long time).
I JUST GOT INTO MOODY! I was accepted into my first choice, Communication Sciences and Disorders- Speech/Language Pathology. I just checked, but before then, the last time I logged on was around 3 pm. I am assuming they sent a wave at 5pm?
Here are my stats:
exactly 30 hrs
3.9 gpa (First semester = 4.0)
2 essays (One from professor, one from my mentor)
2 LOR
a bunch of extracurricular and volunteer hours from my church and high school
Transferring from CC in Cypress (suburb of Houston)

@hopetobealonghorn I transferred from UNT! I think the major itself may not have many people in it so my GPA wasn’t good enough to make it in (3.7) but with a 4.0 I definitely think you have a way bigger chance of getting in. Let me know and good luck!!!
Hi guys, I have been following this thread but haven’t posted yet. I was waiting on a decision for McCombs, 3.9 GPA, 30 hrs, 2 essays. My second choice was Comm Studies. I wasn’t accepted into my first choice, but I was accepted to Moody! I’ve been reading this thread diligently and I was super anxious just like all of you, but I just now got a decision! Congrats to all who were accepted!!!
Just got accepted into CNS bio external transfer, congrats to everyone. (4.0, 36, 3 essays, 2 LOR)

I just got accepted into Moody Public Relations! My gpa is 3.9, 2 LOR, 3 essays, and 39 hours.
I was seriously so sure that I wasn’t going to get accepted because of how long it took. Try to stay positive to those still waiting!

Hey guys, I have a 3.67 overall gpa and applied to CNS public health and education for health promotion. Anyone one think I still have a chance? Everything else on my app is solid and I have a lot of medical experience as well!
I just got denied for both option one and two…
I just got denied from PE with a 4.0 but got accepted to Economics!!! Wtf! I’m livid! I completed all my pre-reqs for Cockrell with 2 LOR and decent essays!
This is gonna sound a bit snobbish but who are they gonna take if they don’t take someone with all the requirements and a 4.0
