Another one of my friends who got a 3.8 also got denied from McCombs, I think the cut off gpa was around 3.85+ ish
@Penguins786 I just checked the list, first choice McCombs 2nd choice Compsci
I think compsci would automatically deny people who put them as their second choice because of the small amount of people they take
Is anybody appealing their decision?
@UT2019 Was your friend external transfer? Also do you know anyone else that has gotten rejected from McCombs? I’m still waiting for McCombs.

So just wondering if this has happened to anyone else.
I applied for first choice as Computer Science. I put my second choice as French (just cause) because if I didn’t get into CS, I’m wasn’t gonna go because of how impossible it is to internally transfer into CS.
Looks like I’ve been accepted to French, but it now says that my first choice was also French. Is this a mistake or just how it appears as when you don’t get into your first choice? Should I call tomorrow?
Pretty sure I just didn’t get in, but I just don’t wanna assume it was a mistake.
Did those of you who just found out just check your status now or have you been checking all day? Just trying to decide if its worth checking all night, or wait till tomorrow

@jpark7956 I think this happened to someone earlier. Must be what happens when your accepted to any major… just changes to your first choice… I’d call though, like you planned- just to be sure
Accepted into RTF! I was notified just now. received a mail from financial aid and then checked my status. 1LOR, 3.88, 2 required essays
I just got in as an undeclared major even though my 1st was McCombs 2nd was Econ. Why is that?
