Two of my friends got in today and so did another classmate in my Calculus 3 class! (All engineering) It’s good to see they got in and that UT is sending out decisions!
@EncisoEngineer do you know what engineering aspects they got accepted into? Like Mechanical civil etc
It seems as if UT is sending out only acceptances. Unless if people don’t want to post that they got denied. So I am assuming if those with over 30 hours do not hear a response soon they probably get placed in the pool and compared to those who have to resubmit spring grades.
Eh better than nothing, I will wait!
To be fair, someone posted on here that they got rejected from Cockrell back in March. So I think the thought that people who get rejected don’t like posting the fact is the more likely possibility here.

Yeah I saw that as well but I feel as if that individual didn’t have the pre reqs. I just have a feeling the process only weeds out the applicants who do not have the pre reqs and accepts the 4.0 applicants right away. then the rest are put in the pool. But to each his own I guess

@DaveCloud that’s correct from what I’ve read. I think someone just posted it actually, about how general admissions evaluates the initial applicant pool and gets rid of all the obvious no’s before sending it to the specific colleges.
@PetroBear84 well that makes me a little more at ease, Arch is my 1st and Civil is 2nd- I haven’t heard of a decision for external transfers in this discipline, yet. Anxious.

@kdeez3 I think all, or most of the 4.0s have heard back by now and that UT is now in the process of considering the sub-4.0 applicants. Hopefully the rest of us retarded fuck-ups will hear back this week though. The wait is honestly killing me.
