@momcam You can attempt to file for an appeal with the new grades if you get rejected. Others have done it before, and it actually is a legit case where you have new information that may change decisions.
Seeing all these CNS acceptances and rejections and still no response is brutal! Man!
@Strelka What classes did you take at ACC and how many hours did you have? I’m looking to transfer into BS Psychology fall of 2017 and was curious how your experience was.
@britni12 my exact thoughts. :-/
@sat4498 I am attending an out of state university right now but I am classified as in state because I graduated from a texas high school. I think on my transcript it had like 42 credits since freshman year plus 26 credits that my current university awarded me from AP scores.
does anyone apply the post undergraduate? Anyone know how the department review this kind of documents?
Woke up to an email urging me to submit my vaccine record. Checked myStatus, I’m in!!! COLA Government with a 3.4.
@BlueMoonArmy Great to know, thanks!
@liberalguy97 are you an instate or out of state applicant? Just curious to see if instate transfers are being reviewed first!
ACCEPTED AS AN OUT OF STATE CS MAJOR!!! I had a 3.67 gpa from uw
@nepusr congrats!! You should be proud of yourself, cs is very competitive and being out of state is near impossible. You must have had excellent essays/extra curriculars
@nepusr congrats!
@DaveCloud @mintpopsicles thank you
@nepusr Congrats!! How many credits have you earned? Can you share a more details of your profile like which courses, how many recommendation letter. When did you apply, etc?
@utairplane28 Thanks for your reply. I am waiting for my decision too for CS. I have 3.81 GPA with 69 credits and I am OOS from a community college.
@sat4498 I’m actually really surprised I got in
UW runs on a quarter system, and I have close to 103 quarter credits. I literally submitted my application ON Feb 29th. I didn’t have a rec letter. I’ve taken basic calculus, 3 programming courses, UW’s full physics series, and lots of math classes. I think what got me in was my essays, because I think they were among the best I’ve ever written. With a 3.67, my GPA wasn’t that great. In terms of extra curriculars, I’m a committee chair in an engineering sorority, I’ve done undergraduate research, and I’ve worked on developing several apps by myself. That’s pretty much it
Let me know if there’s anything else you wanna know!
@liberalguy97 that’s literally how I checked my status. I was so confused as to why I would need vaccination records before I’d been accepted, and that’s why I checked haha
Still waiting on COE as well! hopefully they won’t mind my rejection to the college last year
Did anyone get an email for housing who applied? UT sent me an email about the status of my housing application, but My Status says my admissions are still in review. It basically says Freshmen get priority for housing, so I have to wait on them. But it says you don’t get housing contract info unless you’re admitted.
I got the same @BlueMoonArmy
