Spring/Fall 2016 Transfer Thread

Anyone heard from Petroleum Engineering?

Anyone heard from Civil Engineering?

Anyone heard from Electrical Engineering?

I will work on an acceptance stats post for everyone here tomorrow with: school applied, gpa, in state or out of state.
I was going to do it today, but I had a final paper due to tomorrow I needed to finish.
Is this anyone else’s last week of regular classes?

@Clintonwk You and me both!

Architectural Engineering?

hahah, just wanted to contribute to the Cockrell disciplines wait-pool.

Makes feel a little better that there is still a bunch of Cockrell applicants waiting lol

I am also waiting for college of education-kinesiology

@britni12 That’d be great! But yes… get your work done first! :slight_smile:

My son’s CA community college lets out late. Last week of classes for him are May 23-27.

One more final for me Monday and I’m done!

Heads up to everyone, I applied for a waiver on my enrollment deposit and it was accepted within the hour… Just yaknow, if anyone out there is broke like me. It’s a really simple form and worth a shot. my efc is pretty high and they still waived it.

Could someone post the link to the page where you can see what classes your AP credit will give you credit for?
For example:

AP Bio 4-5 will give you credit for x/y/z courses
3 will give you credit for x/y courses

Thanks.

@utairplane28 I think this is it! http://learningsciences.utexas.edu/studenttesting/

Hello all, just found this post and could use some advice. I am a current freshman at UTSA and will have finished 32 credit hours a week from today, and should finish with a 3.75 GPA. I Have 3 letters of rec, wrote all of the essays available (wrote essays in a rush, can’t say they’re perfect, but I do feel I included a unique topic when writing about myself), submitted my resume etc.

Applied to Economics as first choice, European studies as second, both are in COLA. The wait until these last grades are in is absolutely killer, I could use any input at all from fellow applicants!! Thank you all for your time!

Was secretly hoping someone would do one of these for this year.

Thank you @britni12 !

@cowtongue You’re welcome! Last year the person had every applicant on the thread, I figured people mostly just care about acceptances and rejections haha

I know this is probably a better question for an advisor. But for all engineering transfers, does anyone know if linear algebra is required on top of differential equations? I am trying to transfer for mechanical engineering and I am about to complete differential equations. But a lot of students are currently taking or going to take linear algebra. Is this something I should look into during the summer?

@britni12 Thanks for this stat. It is really helpful.
