I just want to make sure correct information is out there, a lot of that was wrong. No harm in being honest, I was never rude. Is it bad to point out info that is wrong? I mean… other people here have been not-so-nice about that kind of thing… I am being as nice as I can.
@britni12 I think it will work best if we combine the two. I have noticed that your list is missing a few things too and has a few inaccuracies. If we combine them then we can be sure we are saying the same things. Also, I believe the coloring/bolding/alphabetizing on mine will make it easier to read (especially for mobile) but yours including the amount of essays/LORS is good info.
I can pm you the list I’m using with all the numbers and codes so that we can both keep the coloring and bolding going.

@DrRockScientist What you heard is correct, the Jackson School is very small and has limited space and a great financial aid program available Because of this the school is usually full of students who do not drop out, transfer etc. The gpa to be competitive to get in according to people from the school is a 3.8. I know for a fact that the people in the Jackson school read all the essays so that’s a big factor too (that they have to have time to do that and issue decisions once they’ve found out what space is available which itself takes time). Anyways, good luck. I doubt you’ll be waiting into June.
@Newsie2015 My gpa was 3.92 when transferring. I had ~100 hours applying so that is more correct, UT only recognizes students to have a degree if it’s in the clearinghouse system just as FYI to applying students.

@Newsie2015 Just wanted to add that I really like the use of bold and color coding for accepted and denied. Makes it easy to see who is still in progress, and it only takes a second to see when each school was issuing admissions decisions. Strongly recommend posting a summary at the last page of this thread before it is archived. Since the users are tagged, they’ll prob correct any mistakes when/if they see it.
BTW Idk if ppl have said this here but word on the street is they’re doing International transfer applications right now.
Yeah. Since the day was the first day I had to work on smoothing out a few mistakes.

I would highly suggest a triple checking off the list stats. I agree, the colors are great.

@Newsie2015 Why did you tell Miami applicants you were accepted into Broadcast Journalism at UT Austin in 2015, when you were not, you were offered CAP…? Also, how did you afford college if you told numerous people you can not, in any way afford college, not even a community college. You also told someone that at UTA you did not receive any FA… where you have attended for the last year? You are providing very conflicting information.
I don’t mean to be rude, but reading this persons conversation history makes me question their intentions on these threads- which is very frustrating because I take this stuff seriously, and lies should not be tolerated.
I’m not going to be a part of this, if this is the kind of people who are frequenting this thread. I enjoy, very much, a bunch of you, but this is ridiculous. Maybe I am being dramatic, but this person should not be here. It ruins the threads credibility.
@Newsie2015 You also asked in a thread if someone could get away with lying about extra curriculars on their application- if colleges actually check them or not, in detail. No one would ask this unless they had lied, or were planning/thinking about lying.
