Congrats fellow Moody applicants! I’m so happy for you and share in your joy!!! I’m still waiting, not sure if that’s a good or bad thing. I will let you know either way. Do yall know what time your status was updated? I wonder if it updates at midnight or during the day as it happens. Thanks for any feedback and congrats again!!!

@UARK18 Hi! Just curious, but could you explain how you cannot go because of your credits? If you were accepted I was under the impression that the university, indeed, counted your credits and allowed you to enter based on having at least 30 hours. I’m not sure I understand how this could happen and also how they would accept none of your credits? Or how any of this could keep you from going to the school once you’d been accepted? I’m sorry, I’m a bit ignorant about the whole thing. But in any case, I wish you the best of luck!

Still waiting as well… 22yo, 1st Arch Engr / 2nd Civil Engr -3.7 GPA/Associates in Arch&Engr. CADD./ +60 transferable. (all prereq’s through D.E. & EngPhysII) / 3 LORS / 2 Essays (special circumstance) / Plenty of EC’s / Resume / And been full time at a Civil Firm as an Engineering Technician for 2 years now (A year while i was still in CC).

If both awesome lists would add me.

@atghookem I like your positive vibe haha

@rach98n

I already had 30+ hours before applying.

@ptklll well, thanks :frowning:

@UTHopeful1986

I’m on Germany time which is 7 hours ahead of Texas. I checked my status at 10 am and 3 pm, which is when I found out. So in Texas time that 3 am and 8am.

So housing is full and I need a place to stay. It’d be cool if I could room with a fellow Moody major but I’m not picky I just need an apartment to stay at. If any of you are interested message me, I’m going to be a sophomore.

@FluffyPanda @UARK18 Maybe he meant none of his credits will be accepted towards his degree, therefor he is choosing not to go…? I too, was under the impression that your credits were looked over upon application. I spoke with an application elevator in March, they looked at my credits while I was on the phone, the only ones they didn’t accept originally were my math classes that were prereq classes. I was under the impression that, once accepted, transfer classes are reviewed for degree progress eligibility, and if they didn’t transfer towards your degree, you just retake them at UT… anyone know more about this? It was my understanding that UT will accept most credits upon applying, however they still can not accept the towards your degree…?

Can someone please answer my question? I’m currently attending ACC as of right now and last year I took a UT austin dual credit Onramps Computer Science class in high school and got an A in it, will they count this class towards my GPA or even consider it for my decision? Thanks

@britni12 I try, I try!! But trust me, anxiety is still through the roof like the remainder of us!! No need for excess worry, you’re awesome!!

When you send in your undergraduate transcript and are fully accepted, your courses have been evaluated for transfer credit which is able to be viewed by accessing the Interactive Degree Audit, and submitting an audit request for your major. It shows you a % of how complete you are for graduation requirements. It also enumerates the courses you need to take and the courses you have earned credit for, as well as additional requirements you must meet such as flags (writing, reasoning, global cultures, so on).

You don’t have to be accepted to use IDA if you are in-state. Otherwise, I’ve been accepted for a couple of months LOL

@atghookem :slight_smile:

@WannabeBanana Quick question, I know for out of state transfers it is a little different. My understanding was that, they looked at my credits on my application, and decided which ones are eligible for transfer acceptance review. On the UT website it says that no out of state transfer credits are reviewed for degree nontransferability until you have been officially accepted- they must be reviewed by the Dean of the school to be accepted towards degree progress. Is that right? I mean, I think that is literally what it was saying haha

Congrats Moody Majors! And the one who got into COE yesterday
