<p>The academic calendar says there is open registration on January 7 and 8 for Spring, and that classes start January 11. For those of us who live far away, do you know if that means you have to be back to register January 7 or is that something you can do on line beforehand and just come back to campus over the weekend? Thanks.</p>
<p>You meet with your adviser midway through the semester and you register 2/3s through the semester online while you’re on campus. If there are any problems you have lots of time to fix it or get into that class before the Spring semester.</p>

<p>Yeah, the dorms also open up a couple days early if you want to come.</p>

<p>Oct. 27-Jan. 9 Registration for continuing students</p>
<p>So if you’re a freshman, you should expect to register mid-to-late november.</p>
<p>Registration is by the amount of credits you have so the less, the later. I would say late November for freshman.</p>
