When a student takes a flex test- small group - how are the percentiles calculated for that sitting? Is it put in the pool with the large scheduled group that month? Do they do a yearly average?
Thanks

From the SSAT web site on how to read scores:

So, I am GUESSING that they do something similar for flex tests.

But isn’t it true that the same raw scores can yield very different percentiles according to the month you take the test?

how much does it cost to take the test with a consultant or in a small group?

In our area, $150

oh i thought it would cost more…ishould take one like that

Flex test is the same in terms of percentile. They calculate the scores based on all test takers, flex test or big group, on all test dates over 3 years.

Thanks, newyorker22. I think I misunderstood other discussions on “which is a better month” to take the test.
