There used to be a line on the SSAT report that indicated a range of predicted SAT scores based on retrospective analysis. Is this available anywhere?
It wasn’t on my score report.
@heartburner: I thought I saw that mentioned somewhere too (maybe on the SSAT website?) but now I can’t seem to find it. It is nowhere on my score report. I’m assuming that they eliminated that feature. Here is an old school report from 2012: https://www.google.com/?gws_rd=ssl#q=sat+prediction+on+ssat+scores. Click on the second website listed (should be in PDF file form). For easier identification, it looks like this on Google: Secondary School Admission Test Score Report - SSAT
www.ssat.org/…/ul_studentscoresf.pdf
Secondary School Admission Test
Aug 1, 2012 - SSAT Scaled Score … What Does My Score Mean, and Why Do I Have a Personal Score Range … Predicted Range of Grade 12 SAT R Scores.
Unfortunately, I can’t provide the actual link because whenever I click it, it immediately downloads the PDF. However, as shown on that score report, the SAT prediction scores were included.
I wonder if it has something to do with inability/unwillingness to guesstimate scores under the new format SAT, which goes into effect for class of 2017.
Maybe it is because a lot of schools are dropping the SAT and looking at overall academic record??
