I really don’t know how to prepare for the reading section on the SSAT, any useful books?

By the way, is there any school accepts the Feb. SSAT test?
In my area there is no space available for Jan. SSAT…

uh…i dunno. The reading was definitely the easiest for me so i didn’t really prepare for that except by taking a couple of practice tests…i guess just take practice test. Pride and Prejudice has good words, so does shakespeare’s stuff, and harry potter–the best series in the universe. :)

bestswimmer- check the websites. They’ll tell you what tests they accept.
Did you look for different test location?

I think if i remember correctly, St. Paul’s accepts February tests, but no swim team. My reading was terrible even though on the practice tests, it was deft. one of my best. I think during the test I get nervous or can’t concentrate. During the test, I keep on thinking what happens if I do bad on the test. Unlike math and verbal, it’s not straightforward questions. So, I think the best way to prepare is read a lot. Read an article on nytimes.com everyday.
