I scored around a 2390 on the SSAT (not telling so you can’t determine my identity). Do you recommend I take the test a second time to possibly get a 2400? I heard that Andover does super-scoring, so kids who get an 800 in reading might have an advantage over me.
Schools I am Applying To:
Exeter
Andover
Lawrenceville
Many many more.
No.
SSAT score is only one piece of application.
If you do not gain acceptance it won’t be due to your SSAT score. Someone with 2400 will not have advantage over you.
Your 12 (!!!) threads are all variations of a theme. Any potential bump that you may get from the admissions process happened ~13 years ago when you exited the womb. You were either born with insane athletic ability/as a URM/into a family that has legacy and/or donates a lot of money to the school. Everything you have asked is simple grasping at straws. Maybe it will help; maybe it will not. Your best bet is to put together the best application package that you can and nail your interview. Good luck.
