My brother is applying to Exeter, kent, choate, avon old farms, loomis and taft as a 9th grader for 2010. He got his ssat scores and wondered if they are good enough.
Math: 91
Reading:83
Verbal: 92
Overall:91
Are these good enough scores for these schools plus full FA?

Sorry if I sound rude, but whether your brother will get accepted to those schools or not does not solely depend on his SSAT scores.

Yea those scores are good enough for the testing part of the application. He will need to have other good things to receive admission though.

Good luck!

ssat’s aren’t everything.
i got lower scores than that but got into loomis (:
they also look @ current grades, essays, extra curriculars and the interview.

also, the full FA part may be quite tricky…
lots of really good applicants got FA waitlisted so…

To continue ultraviolet’s trailing post: (lots of really good applicants got FA waitlisted so…
) he should apply to Andover which is need blind.
