Hi! I’m a rising 8th grader, and I am to take my SSAT Upper Level tomorrow.
I’ve been preparing for the past month-and-half or so, and I’ve been using Test Innovators. I’ve done a bunch of practice tests and exercises, and my overall percentile has steadily grown from the low nineties to the high nineties. I am a public school kid and will definitely need FA when I apply to GLADCHEMMS and a few others. I have been scoring 99th percentile on the last few practice tests I’ve been taking, with my weakest subjects usually being math or verbal. I’m not sure how the practice tests will compare to the real tests, so if anyone has taken the SSAT Upper Level, could you give me some brief insight on whether the exam is harder or easier than the practice tests.
Yeah!! That’s definitely an option. But based on how I do, I’ll probably have to talk with my parents on whether I’d be better off taking a paper test. I’m doing Prometric tomorrow. And I’m not really the best test taker, so I really hope I can score well my first time about! Thank you though!
SSAT has quite a good testing option that can be purchased through the registration site. It will allow you to practice on weak areas and has reliable full tests. The actual scoring varies by those you test with so schedule two tests.
hey! so I bought the test innovators package. It gave me 9 practice tests, and a ton of questions. Personally, the real test was a LOT harder for me, but I think my strong math section helped me score in late 2300s.
