can i use my SAT score or do i have to take the SSAT?</p>
<p>My son also took the SAT (7th grade). When I went to a Secondary School Panel last year (big name NE schools sent reps to talk), only one RI school said they would take the SAT (min score required). All the others (Andover…etc) said you’ll have to take SSAT no matter how high your SAT score is. I am not familiar with the school you mentioned, maybe you can call the school yourself to find out.</p>
<p>I’m curious Harpist, what was the minimum score that the delaware school required? My son is taking the sat next month and if he scored well enough, I was thinking of sending them along with his other stuff, but I really don’t know what would be considered impressive for a 7th grader. (Same scenario…talent search qualifier.) I wouldn’t want to sent anything that would make him look bad!</p>

<p>If you mean score of 2 sections (reading and math) over 1300 I’d think it is pretty good score. :-)</p>
