I just got in yesterday! I think they did a deferred decision. UCAS sent me an email but the St Andrews Portal hasn’t registered my acceptance yet

@collegecurious @collegemom3717 My school is on a trimester system, so the first trimester grades come out next week. I took multi-var calc and physics C first term so hopefully those grades will count for something
I applied October 2nd for a joint honors in IR and Russian. I haven’t heard anything yet, but I know that IR is notorious for taking a long time. I’m really anxious to get my decision, whenever that my be!!
I just got accepted for an unconditional offer to study biology! I’m thrilled!

Anyone applying through common app hear back?
DD applied via common app Nov 1 and haven’t heard anything yet.
Son applied thru Common App on Oct 9 and was unconditionally accepted to IR on Nov 21.
How much do you think my chances of admission will be affected if I just applied yesterday to IR?

I applied October 15th as an English major through the Common App. They asked for my first quarter grades, and I haven’t heard anything since. Should I be worried?
My daughter was accepted to the joint degree program with William & Mary in IR, as well as regular in psychology. Any insights on one program vs. other would be appreciated. We are based in TX
@MBoomTX I have heard from multiple sources that many of the students who are accepted to the joint program end up wanting to stay full time at St. Andrews. For what that is worth. That said the joint IR program is a great one. My son who is a second year has a friend who is studying psychology and is American. If your daughter is interested in speaking to her send me a pm. Congrats to your daughter.
@alexwat247 I would not be worried. When did they ask for your quarter grades? Last year it took them 2-5 weeks to get back to people after asking for their quarter grades.
