St. George's or Vancouver College?

Can anyone tell me about these two schools? I’ve heard that they are main competitors, but what differs them from one another or are they pretty much the same (in terms of education, grad placement and the like).

Please no biased answers. I’ve seen a lot of of graduates from either schools completely dissing the other, as they are main rivals. Thanks!

Yes its true they are main competitors and rivals in sports etc due to the fact that they are the only all boys schools in vancouver.
i have friends that go to both of the schools and by the looks of what they say and stuff i personally think St. Georges is the better school. Everything there is top notch kind thing. Both are uniformed schools.

Vancouver College: Catholic school, day school only, tuition (gr.1-12): $4,475

St.Georges: private > non-religious, university prep school, day and boarding school, tuition (gr.1-7): $14,200 (gr.8-12): $16,475

Overall St.Georges apears to be the nicer school and better looking one when it comes to education, and St.Georges is voted number 1 all boys school in BC…check out the websites!!
Good Luck.

i live nearby and know people from both schools, and i’d have to say that (this could be kind of skewed since i only know about 10 people from each school, not the entire school population) VC is much more of a jock school, from what i’ve seen. the boys i know that go there are really athletic, and sometimes not that bright… st georges, on the other hand, seems to be more academically-focused (also, it seems to have a lot more asians than VC, which could be contributing to this), and the boys who go there do seem a tad brighter than the ones at VC (from what i’ve seen). i don’t know how st georges athletics compare, but there was a boy from my past high school who was recruited by st georges for rugby (he was an awesome player) but frankly, a terrible student, so i’m not sure how that reflects on the school…
