St. Pauls ASP Experience

Hi, my school recently told me I should apply for the St. Paul’s ASP, a summer program hosted on campus. I was wondering if anyone else had ever attended this summer program, and if so I’d like to hear their thoughts. Also, in terms of college admissions will this program make any difference? Am I better off going to a less expensive program or even a free summer program. This one is expensive but if it does help in terms of college applications then I would be open to attending

Any info will be appreciated

I know quite a few students who have attended over the years - both in the past several years as well as adults who attended decades ago. All have said it was a very positive experience - life changing for some. I would suggest tracking down and talking to students or recent alumni from your own high school who have attended. If you don’t know them, ask your college office or guidance counselor and I’m sure they can point you in the right direction.

Yes, it can definitely help with college admissions - both with the college admissions process itself and with giving your application an edge. The program is very well regarded.

As far as cost, the program does have need based aid available if you qualify.
