St. Paul's School Concord NH

thanks MilkandCookies!
huh there isn’t a math placement?
can i get one if my teacher recommended i take one cuz i took Algebra I and geometry together at my middle school and in my high school this year i took Alg II and she says i might be able to move to Precalc cuz of that but maybe not? Also are any of the other new fourth formers next year going to read the other two books that they said the 3rd formers read this year (balzac and the little chinese seamstress and things fall apart)?

sorry i have another question…
in august when i know who my roommate is will i get her address? id like to contact her before school starts…unless that is a bad idea?

Im not going to read the 3rd form books…but thats just me. If I see it may slightly help me next year I may glance over some spark notes…but I doubt it. Also, I think you will most likely get contact information and if not, maybe find them on facebook? If you have one…

crayolacrayons - your parents will be ab le to access the school’s online “facebook” and see your roommate’s phone number and address if you want to contact her.

Yesterday, my son told me that the SPS online facebook has been updated to include incoming students. I do not know if any of the new students or parents can log in yet.

Where do I go to see this “facebook”, I can’t seem to find where the picture we sent in was used. Is the directory suppose to be this so called facebook?

Yes - new faces are up but dorms, advisors, roommates for new students are not up yet. Usually, the tech folks will put through the new info in stages prior to 8/1. On 8/1, all info should be up and viewable by new and returning students.

Mpicz - the online facebook and directory are not the same. If your folks can log-in (upper left side of the SPS website) you can find the facebook in 2 ways:

 1. On the Parent Portal page, scroll down and you sould see it under Parent Information heading. It’s called "St. Paul’s School Online Facebook.
 2. Or after signing in, on the left hand side there is a red box or button labeled “Parent”. If you click on it, it will bring up a listing of pages. Click on “important Information” and the 2nd listing on the new page should be the Online Facebook.

Oooohhh ok, thanks creative :)

My log in worked yesterday and my d was able to see the pictures of the III. It has addresses, telephone numbers and dates of birth.

crayola-You may want to contact the Vice Rector for Academics to discuss your situation. We had a conversation with him about d’s math placement and he was very helpful.

yyaaayy! I’m so excited! Its so weird seeing everyone’s picture before school starts! Am I right in thinking that the students without their SPS emails listed are the new kids?

Yup youre right.

Hahahah, for some reason that random kid on a scooter made me laugh for like a minute

What is “my groups”?
And when will they have the schedules up?

Also – do people get surprise gifts often?
I’ve been nudging my mom to get me a cake as a surprise for my birthday.

i think a lot pf people get care packages from home with the occasional surprise- that would be awesome if your mom sent you a cake!!! a girl i know got a HUGE one on her bday and she just kept it in her dorm and munched on it occasionally with friends.

Weird – I’m probably looking at a bunch of CCers right now through the Directory.

my login still won’t work!

crp1256, did you get the recent SPS bill by mail? Generally parents get an email when a bill has come out and then click to the web site to view it, which requires signing in. If you can’t sign in and the help on the web site isn’t helping, you should call the school. Students don’t get their own sign in until they come to school, so your student will want that log in to look at the face book.

Students, I don’t think you will get your schedule until you arrive at school. The face book will be updated in the next few weeks to include updated pictures for returning students, dorms, advisers, and emails for new students.

your schedule appears on the parents portal a few days/weeks before school starts…
also to all the new kids looking-they haven’t updated any of the returning kids pictures yet, and i can think of at least ten examples of people who look completely different, but the pictures should be updated by 8/1 (i’m hoping)
