I saw rather negative reviews of St. Timothy’s on Greatschools and I was wondering whether anyone could tell me more about the school and how it compares to other girls’ schools in terms of academics and extra-curriculars/student life.
Thanks in advance!

hi! i go to st tims now. i’m not sure what the negative reviews said, but st tims is pretty good. we have the ib which is a lot harder and completely different than other baltimore prep schools. it’s a small school and you know everyone which is great because many of my closest friends range in age and freshman aren’t looked down on. we are filled with traditions, and though to some it may seem strange, but to us it fills you with st. tim’s pride(: classes are hard and a little difficult to adjust to but once you get the hang of it, you’re fine. teachers are especially easy to talk to and you can ask any teacher, even if you don’t have their class, for tutoring or to explain something. on the weekends to have some fun we have tons of trips, and the guy in charge of student life is always available for suggestions (seriously, we have had hour long talks about ideas) in general, everyone is really family-oriented and a lot of students are close with faculty members. hope this helped!
