<p>For prospies: UCLA is actually a really safe school. This is just an unusual occurrence . . . to say the least.</p>
<p>Gotta say, this sounds a lot like my old high school. xD</p>
<p>I hope she turns out fine. As for the guy, If I ever see that kid on campus, all hell is going to break loose.</p>
<p>Dude was taken into custody and will probably be charged. We won’t be seeing him on campus for a while.</p>
<p>And there was that frat party stabbing a couple weeks ago. My dad’s already concerned with two majors crimes in three weeks.</p>
<p>It’s all coincidence, trust me. UCLA is still a good school.</p>

<p>CORRECTION: The stabbing occurred during a Chemistry 30CL class.</p>
<p>Sources at the scene of the crime said a male student stabbed a female student during a Chemistry 30CL class. The university has yet to confirm the following information, but the following events occurred according to the sources, who are not official university representatives.</p>
<p>The suspect turned himself in, and the victim was taken away from the scene in an ambulance. Students were present during the stabbing, and counselors were brought in to console those who were traumatized.</p>
<p>All sixth-floor labs and discussions are canceled, and the area was taped off by university police. All other chemistry classes in Young Hall are continuing. Community service officers, UCPD, administration and chemistry professors are present and the investigation is under way. According to a statement released by the university, the victim and the suspect worked together in a chemistry lab on campus.</p>

<p>Scenario 1: guy is on waitlist and needs the class. so he thought the best way to get off of it is to take someone out.</p>
<p>Scenario 2: they were lab partners and she ****ed up the lab and cost them the grade. blind rage takes over.</p>
<p>I guess what they say is true, people down in south campus are really cutthroat.</p>
<p>Well. The situation doesn’t appear to have been a random attack, so I don’t think there’s quite a need to fear for our lives just yet. But this and the murder at Yale, and you really start to feel suspicious of everyone around you.</p>
