Staff Instructors

<p>While registering today, I had really no choice but to register for a stat class with staff as the instructor. I’m nervous about taking a class by either a professor I don’t know or a TA. I’m paranoid about keeping my GPA, and I know I won’t know anything about the professor.</p>

<p>Have you students who have also had Staff had good luck with it, or should I be worried and try to find an alternative?</p>

<p>There are a lot of classes where they don’t figure out who’s the teacher until later. I didn’t know who my Spanish professor was going to be before I registered, and he turned out just fine. If you get a bad feeling when you meet the prof for the first time, you could always drop the class and pick up another one if your schedule works out that way.</p>
