Standardised Test Score as midyear report- risky or nah?

I scored poorly on my sat and subject tests
SAT: 1040
Math Level 2: 490
Chemistry: 440

I just found out today that some top colleges accept the February ACT. Phew. But for those that don’t including Caltech and MIT should I send my ACT score for my midyear report.
Note that I’m an Irish student (not international though) we dont get grades in the middle of the year anyways.

I’m in my senior year. I’ve have only taken the SAT once and the subject tests once also (theres limited opportunity to take the subject tests in Ireland)

Do you thinking sending ACT results for my midyear report is a dumb move. How would colleges view that especially considering that they clearly state that December is the latest you can take standardised tests

You can pretty much forget about admission to CalTech/MIT with those scores. And that is the truth. Or any other American schools.

Yeah, with those scores, there’s no way you can get into MIT/CalTech. You want to be at least 1500+ on the SAT for those schools to be competitive. Depending on your state, there are some great schools where you can go to with your scores (and save some money while you’re at it), but MIT and CalTech are reaches for applicants who have 1600 SATs and 800 SAT 2s.

I smell a lot of blarney here…
