For most early decision choices, the latest date we can take the SAT or ACT is usually very close to the application deadlines. But if I take a test at the last possible date, wouldn’t I not be able to send in my scores by the early decision deadline since it takes a couple weeks to receive the scores and then send them? I am confused since I thought the colleges needed your official score reports in order to begin reviewing your application but the allowed scores would not be able to reach them within the deadline

Its always good to call the school and ask what the latest test date they will take is. Some will accept them later than others. It all depends on the school and their admissions process. Hope that helped!
