Hi all,
I am a freshman at UCB, and am thinking about transferring as a sophomore. I am interested in applying to Cornell, Columbia and Penn.
I do know that many colleges say that they do superscore, I was wondering if they really do for transfers. I also wanted to know if i have any chances…
I will just briefly share my quantitative stats only. Numbers seem to matter a lot to transfers. I does not necessary mean I have these numbers only.
I am a chem major.
GPA: 3.9
I have a 2250 if I superscore (CR: 720, Math 740, WR: 790 w/ essay 10).
Subject scores: Math 2C: 780, Chem 800, Bio 800.
Thanks.
I don’t*
Sorry I wrote too quickly without reading it again.
I am also considering other LACs too…
Hey there, I know that the way they value test scores are as the same as freshman applicants for transfers so,
UPenn - Superscore
Columbia - No super score
Cornell - No super score (but sending in all your tests will help)
Just out of curiosity, why do you want to transfer out of UCB? From what I heard its a good school for science majors.
Thanks!
UCB is a good school. I just wanted to seek other options. Even though I don’t get into any of the schools I apply to, I will be very happy to graduate with a cal degree in my hands.
