Which standardized test is preferred on a Columbia college application for a student who wants to major in medicine, the SAT or ACT (examination)? Thanks.

neither the SAT or ACT is preferred. for sat II’s, you’d probably want to take science and math related ones though… if you think those would show them that you’d do well in those areas

…columbia doesn’t have a medicine major…whatever that is, and premed isn’t a major either.
but yeah, SAT’s and SAT II’s.

Are you thinking of medicine undergrad? That doesn’t exist over there.

Yeah, but I want to follow the course of a pre-medical student. You really don’t need to explain to me that medicine is not a major. Factual accuracy was not my aim when I posted the question. Answer the question please. :)

if you can pick one, the conventional wisdom is that SAT is a more challenging test.

Those with the horsepower to get into columbia should have no real problem with either one.
