Standardized Testing

I have read the NYU info on their admission site but I am still confused about one thing. With the ACT do they super score? They say to send all the scores and they will put them together to make the candidate look the best but I still don’t quite understand with regards to this. In other words, will they take the best score from each section if they are from different dates?

i agree it is not very clear. We only found out that’s how they do it by reading a question on their forum board last year. If you are unsure, ask the question on the NYU forum board for admissions in case anything has changed since last year.

So to better answer your question, yes we sent multiple test scores and they picked the highest from each subject area–in our case it did improve the average score by a point (and every little bit helps, right?). But please confirm with someone in admissions to be sure.
