<p>So, basically I have a 3.8/4.4 GPA in one of the best high schools in Maryland, my county’s SGA’s Vice-President, a state SGA exec board member (hopefully), and I always due horribly mediocre on college admissions tests. I got a 28 twice on the ACT, and got 178 on the PSAT…I’ taking the SAT tommorrow.</p>
<p>Its frustrating because I want to get into elite colleges, but my socres are going to eff me over. Are there any schools that put less weight on standardized tests?</p>

i’m interested as well to see which schools put less emphasis on scores

<p>Haha i read something about the baby boomers, how competition is amazingly high now or something. But yes i understand, standardized tests… lame. </p>

But I won’t complain, since there are ppl who would shoot me if I complained about my scores. which is stupid since they’re not exactly HIGH by any standard. Grr.</p>
<p>I hate the SATs, they kill me over. and reading these 1400s on the bulletin makes me even more scared…ahhhh i hate the inventor of the SATs…</p>
