Standardized tests in College admissions

I was wondering if Subject test can outweigh normal standarized tests.
I have really good subject tests (M2: 800, PHS: 780) and a horrible sat/ act. I’m just so bad at reading. I don’t mean horrible but below average at the colleges I want to apply to. Will my subject tests outweigh if I’m going into a math major and my subject tests for that subject are very good.

Many students (including my D) are higher in one section than another. But if you critical reading SAT is terrible, I suggest you practice/study for it and retake. Colleges do want students who have competent reading/writing skills even if they plan to be math majors.

@czebos What is your specific ACT/SAT and breakdown? By horrible, do you mean a 540 or a 720? Big difference. Those SAT II’s are great.

Subject tests can’t “outweigh” SAT-1 or ACT scores, sorry.
