Standarized Testing

How important are the SAT II’s in the admissions process? If you have low SAT II scores the first time you take them, but raise them the second time around will that hurt your chances?
Thanks

They are somewhat important, but by no means are they the only information used in the admissions process. Admissions committees look at the highes SAT scores regardless, so if you raise them the secon time, it wont hurt your chances at all. Almost everyone raises their scores when the sit the test a second time.

I know someone who never took and never sent SAT II, he got into Georgetown. (I don’t suggest doing that however). It seems to be that they are really only used as a supplement, I wouldn’t worry about them too much if you have good credentials.
