Stanford 2008 Supplement ETA

<p>With Stanford deciding to adopt the Common App. for 2008 anyone hear any rumors about:

  1. When Stanford may have their supplement to common app. ready for 2008?
    (I am sure they will have a supplement - question is when can we preview it)
  2. Will they slowly phase in common app (i.e accept their regular app. for few more years and give the choice to applicant whether to use common app or regular Stanford app.)</p>

but June 30th/July 1st is a good date to check for apps at most schools–I think</p>

<p>i’ve been wondering about that myself…i had their old essay topics, you know, to think about what i might write…will they keep the essay topics as a part of their outline, or what??? CONFUSION!!!</p>

<p>wait, stanford does adopt the common app for class of 2012?</p>

<p>The last topic on the common application is always “the topic of your choice”, so you can still write whatever you want…</p>

<p>It’s not a phase in. Only common app with supplement, no stanford app. Only online, no more paper. The supplement will probably be ready when commonapp.org decides to release all their 2007-2008 apps.</p>
