lol I think I’ll slow down my posts now, or at least I’ll try…lol

See, I never understood why people are afraid of dying. Like, you won’t be able to feel it anyway. I mean, I would never want to know that I didn’t live life to the fullest, so I guess that’s the scary part of dying, but I’m very happy with my life right now.

Wow I was going to apply to Rice but like you said their supplement is long, guess if I get my admin decision and it’s unfavorable (I don’t want to use the R or D words), then I might apply to Rice.

Do you guys feel that you’ve done most of what you wanted to do yet? I know I haven’t. and keep posting colleges thing I’m curious.

Diivio, have you visited campus? I haven’t and I’m not sure if I’ll like Texas. So that’s another reason why I’m wavering.

btw has anyone put me back in the fb group. I shouldn’t have left it lol sorry. Is the group more active now though?

^^

Join in and i’ll re-accept you XD

hmm now we do have lots of things in common… not afraid of dying would be one :)

oh yeah we have a big Anti Texas feeling here too. LIke most kids applying to top schools here when I mentioned Rice they said “But it’s Texas!”. No I haven’t seen any campuses other than HYPM

I am NOT applying to H 'cause my SAT II Lit sucked :(

ive never been to rice but ive herd its nice
but im not applying bc i did not like texas in general when ive been there. im just not a texas person

OMG sarba is in Nepal! lol I just noticed that’s pretty cool.

from personal experience I will say Rice’s campus is on par with any of the ivys. And as a liberal who lives in a sea of red in Oklahoma, I have been to Texas and the cities are not bad at all. Dallas is pretty classy, and Houston has its parts. San Antonio’s okay. But Austin is amazing, its a little gem in Texas. If your talking about UT-Austin.

UT-Austin is a good school, but very big!

lol it seems whenever I get on out posts tend to slow down…does no one like me!!! lol jk. Oh well maybe I’ll get back on this when a bunch more people show up bye you guys.

I’m a Texan, and a proud one too. It’s great here. Texas is VERY underrated due to stereotypes, and I agree with MFed. You really have to live here for an extended period of time. The stereotypes are mostly wrong, and there are all the opportunities here you could want in any other part of the country - maybe even more. Sunbelt ftw. The weather is underrated too…

Oh I’m sure the stereotypes are wrong, I think I’ve said before stereotypes usually are lol.

I don’t want to apply to colleges! I wish I could just know about Stanford because if I get into Stanford, I am accepting immediately.

I’m proceeding with things as if I have already been gently placed aside by Stanford. I can’t really afford not to.

Damn, I was gone one day and this thread totally took off.

What did I miss?

Ahhh! Nitro and Diivio pledged! I <3 you guys.
Yes, even you, Nitro.

Anyway, I don’t think I’ll be participating much today, because I have to do homework.
However, I just woke up from my X-Treme-Sleeping-In post-battle, and I suppose that you should know that, in my dream, a voodoo priest made me British.
Very anticlimactic.
