Clearly, you will be competitive for many of the top colleges! Your wit alone should make you stand out. Stanford, however, is so overcome with applicants it is a reach school for even the geniuses. If your scores and marks were a little higher you would be in a stronger position for this school. At the same time, schools like debaters so that should serve you well. Also, Stanford likes entrepreneurs and workers; you have a strong track record as a doer. Good luck and I say go for it.

Your GPA and rank will almost certainly keep you out.

Agreed with glassesarechic, you’re definitely on the very low side for Stanford. However, you are certainly competitive for other (slightly lesser) top schools.

Nope. No chance Sorry. To really be competitive for a school like Stanford, you need to have some national or huge ward like U.S Science Olympiads. Almost all kid applying to Stanford have 2200 + SATS, 800s on Science and math SAT IIs and are in the top 5% of their classes. You need something that will separate your application from them.

it is definitely not true that the majority of people applying to stanford have 2200’s on the SAT. The middle 50% for stanford is somewhere around 750, so even of the people accepted, the average is only a little bit above 2200
