Are there any applicants from Iowa here?
on the stanford axess website it says “System Notice: Axess will be unavailable from 9:00 PM on Saturday, March 28th until 8:00 AM on Sunday, March 29th while system maintenance is performed.” does this mean they will be uploading the decisions during that time to release them on monday? or is friday still the day?
Stanford is releasing decisions on April 1st, right? Imagine if you got the email saying “Congratulations!” only to get another email later saying “April Fools, you didn’t actually get in.”
we are all stressing over a couple of days that will lead to (for most of us) a rejection letter. After waiting for almost 3 months, I’m sure we can handle another weekend.

We are so close to decisions its unbelievable
Hey guys! This is my first time posting on CC. I, like everyone else here, am anxiously awaiting decision day. When I applied to Stanford and up until a few weeks ago, I wasn’t really nervous even though I’ve wanted to go to Stanford for a long time because I’m 99% sure I won’t get in. But now that decisions are almost about to come out, the anxiety is setting in, but it’s made me feel a lot better reading all of your comments. 
Good luck to everyone and just know that no matter the decision, you will all go on to do great things.
Also, shout out to @emenya for being super helpful and amazing and commenting so much. You’re seriously an awesome person and it’s really nice to know that there are people out there who just help people for the sake of helping people. There’s this Chinese proverb I really like that goes “A candle loses nothing by lighting another candle.” and I think you really exemplify that.

Like, I loved my application but that doesn’t necessarily mean anything because there are so many amazing apps and so few spots available and I know this doesn’t determine worth by any means but Stanford has been my dream since I was in the 6th grade so I am totally freaking out

Great news! Now I feel vindicated in being an optimist (though I’m more skeptical about my original prediction for the Ivy release date, which definitely seems to be March 31)! Good luck, everyone!

Does anyone from last year know whether the e-mail will contain the actual decision or just a link to connect with the decision on Stanford’s site?
Two days. Two days. I had been really gearing myself up for next Wednesday, but TUESDAY?!?!
Anyway y’all (lol Texas coming through), we’ll all be fine. No one get a heart attack with the sudden admission release. I already had one for you. This has been such a crazy, crazy ride and soon it will come to an end in two days.
