Does anyone know if I can still send updates to stanford? I know it’s very late in admissions process, but I couldn’t find anything about updating a profile on their website. Thanks in advance
@eespos1 I can imagine they wouldn’t look at any additional documents at this point, but you could always fax it in to the admissions office if it would make you more comfortable to know you tried to get it to them?
@abriboi Yeah, applying to Stanford was actually really fun! Going through the essays was a difficult, yet rewarding process. Even if I don’t get in, it’s an experience that I will never forget and do again in a heartbeat!!

My guess is whatever day Stanford releases them, it will be around 3 Pacific time. But I do still think (hope) there’s a chance that this year Stanford won’t wait until after the Ivys and will release on Friday or Saturday. For the past 3 years, the Ivys have released on the last Friday in March; just because they’ll be late this year doesn’t necessarily mean that Stanford will be too. We can always hope, anyway!
My dd was up till all hours re-reading her app. The anxiety is so high right now. Sending positive thoughts and prayers to each of you. When I read through your posts and stats…I’m just glad im not an admissions officer. You have all earned admission whether there are enough ‘seats’ for you or not. Best of luck. @collegePapa Exactly! That’s why, at the risk of seeming like a totally irrational optimist, I still hold out hope for Friday, March 27, 2015! (And I even still hope for that for the Ivys, though I realize the odds are close to zero now, since at least two Ivys have officially announced March 31.) Past behavior is the best predictor of future behavior!
@collegePapa @Planner That’s why I have been thinking decisions will come out on the 27th! I am so nervous about decisions that I would rather it be on the 1st, though…
@AppAnxiety Yes, in some ways delaying it could be better! But I’d still rather hear sooner—fewer days to worry and wait, plus it makes arranging for travel to admitted students days easier (and potentially less expensive).
One note of caution though is that all these historic dates mentioned are exactly one day after the H******d announcement
@collegePapa et al…Stanford (especially in recent years) always enjoys releasing their decisions after the northeast schools…especially H (regular or early decisions)…
Notice H et al released their REGULAR decisions on the following dates (not to be confused with the different ivy schools playing “guess my date” for EARLY decisions which were all over the place in the last few years…)

If, indeed, all the ivy schools stick with March 31 (as a few have proclaimed “officially”)…and not move it up or manipulate their dates like they did in the early rounds…Stanford will release on April 1st…
…waiting to get into the most exclusive school is worth it…don’t you think?

The reason for announcing later may not necessarily because Ivies are announcing later than their regular dates, but same inclement weather would have affected applicants from NE region in submitting their material to Stanford as well!

I’d just like to chip in the fact that last year, on the 26th, the Stanford admissions blog posted the time and date that they would release decisions. Perhaps they’ll do the same this year… In the mean time, don’t let the paranoia and conspiracies get to you!!
I’m just sad because I’m starting to realize i won’t get in haha 
now i want it to come out as late as possible so i don’t have to see the rejection letter sigh
