Yeah the site has been crashing a lot today. Berkeley, Emory, and Duke were today, and I’m sure there were more.

Is there a pattern–like, if you got rejected you get emailed sooner, and the longer it takes, the better your chances? Just wondering.
I feel like they send out decisions in waves where no comes first and yeses go later…that might be totally wrong

There is no pattern. They just send them out as fast as they can. They know that everyone is anxiously waiting.
I am so glad that Stanford is continuing to release decisions on a Friday afternoon. At least by 3 pm PDT, most kids are not still sitting in a classroom and finding out their decision in front of all their classmates. You then have the weekend to process your decision either way.

Got into USC today, but was rejected by UC Berkeley Engineering… 
Starting to think that if I couldn’t get into UCB, then there is no way I’ll get into Stanford. Oh well, all I can do is hope for the best! Good luck everyone!

I’ll be sitting in a class full of fellow applicants when decisions come out. SAVE ME. Btw, will the email include our decisions straight-up, or will it direct us to some sort of portal so that we have to click/load more links before we burst into tears?

The email includes the decision. The subject line will say something like “Your Stanford Application Decision” no matter what that decision is.
Tomorrow is going to be crazy. Does anyone know if any admission statistics have been released for this year? The acceptance rate is probably going to be sub 5%
Do they email rejection letters first or acceptance letters ??

Okay so it’s one in the morning here. I don’t know what happened, but yesterday I was fine. I mean I was pumped for the Zona Xavier game, no cares in the world. Then, when it struck 12, I immediately broke out into shivers and my stomach won’t unknot itself.
@bacteriophage1 But I think that the UChicago admission is really close to Stanford in terms of scores, originality and everything. So, who knows
