Keep refreshing my email and hoping for a surprise email or something from stanford lol. All I receive are invitation emails from random colleges. I’m so nervous since stanford will mark a period at the end of this long journey of college apps, with somewhat convoluted syntax.
@DreamforIvy I’m sorry my tone seemed ungrateful and un-enthusiastic. I’m ecstatic to have gotten this opportunity. And I will be more than glad to be attending an Ivy college. I just wanted to say Stanford is my dream college.
I don’t know why I’m even waiting to check on Stanford. I was rejected by 10 of my 11 other schools, and the only other school I got into was for my second choice major. UNC at Chapel Hill, NYU, and USC either waitlisted or rejected me.

After so many rejections and waitlists, all my hope of being awarded for all my years of hard work now lies on this final remaining decision from Stanford
Being an international with high need I always knew my chances were slim, but seeing so many kids with similar or less stats get in with full aid into colleges rejecting or waitlisting me has been pretty demoralizing
Really praying I get to have a breathe of relief today after this long and painful month

tbh I’m kind of glad I didn’t get into most of my schools yesterday because I feel like I’d be stressing a lot more right now if I had–good luck to everyone, and know that you guys will all end up at great schools regardless of whether or not you’re accepted to Stanford! an acceptance or rejection from one school doesn’t define you.
I heard Cali schools look at you more holistically so I’m praying that’s true haha GOOD LUCK ALL OF YOU!!! You guys seem the nicest out of all of the other college threads I’ve been violently stalking hahaha
Rejected by all ivies, accepted to Berkeley yesterday. Hope Stanford comes, through, but really happy with Cal already ;))

As a junior applying to the class of 2022, I just want to wish everybody luck for the next 15 minutes. I can’t think of how stressed I will be for REA D-Day next year, and I’ve hung around this thread for the last week.
From what I’ve gathered, you are all truly amazing people, and you were able to come together and create a true community on an online forum, with people you don’t even know. This may sound like a broken record, but know that you are all truly great individuals, and you will be happy no matter where you go, regardless of whether you get into Stanford. Be glad that this stressful process has finally ended, and that you no longer have a burden on your shoulders.
Enjoy the last few months of high school, graduation and get ready for the best four years of your lives, because I am 100% sure that each and every one of you will have the time of their lives in college. Good luck, and may the odds be ever in your favor!
