It is a geek question

@grtd2010 If you’re asking where the update will be, I think it’ll pop up if you refresh at the time

@vasodys How will that happen, do you have any idea ? I am a Computer Scientist by profession.

@grtd2010 Not sure, probably JS

@vasodys They will update https://apply.stanford.edu/apply/status page at 3:00 PM PST

@grtd2010 I know…

@vasodys No point refreshing the status page until the code is updated for the page. So every one relax until 3:00 PM. Good Luck everyone.

@grtd2010 I know I just said refresh when it’s time lol

Good luck to all of you !!

@CiteYourSources: Why are the stakes for international and California higher?

@SinsOfAdmission There’s more competition for in state and International students.

I’m applying RD but good luck to everyone tonight!! Hopefully my 2 friends that applied REA get in tonight. Idk why I’m checking this thread right now haha

Good luck to all! I’ll be trying to do as much homework as I can until release time… Under 3 hours now.

My friend who graduated last yeat says the email comes out at 5 pm

@futuredoc99 If your friend graduated last year, that means they got their email 5 years ago. Stanford wouldn’t announce a time and then not release them at that time. Also the admissions office will close at 3 so no one will be there to send the emails at 5

@vasodys and @CiteYourSources: Stanford takes proportionally more kids from California, which would make a Californian’s chances of admission better, not worse. Specifically, 36% of Stanford students are from California, yet California represents approximately 12% of the US Populus.

@SinsOfAdmission That’s simply because so many Californians apply. So, yes, many accepted students come from Cali but only due to the state’s sheer number of applicants… which thus makes it harder since Stanford attempts to promote geographic diversity.

@SinsOfAdmission what @alr33zy said xD

Good luck guys.

Currently in my last class before decisions and I am a mess lol
