@lincolnsgf That’s just my own conspiracy theory. Please don’t take it seriously. Relax. We know Stanford will certainly take less than 4.5% of the applicants (to beat Harvard) and they already offered many during EA round. So maybe just 1% or so in the RD round. But many people on Reddit said they didn’t see a date change, so maybe it’s just what it is, a conspiracy theory.
@salamandereyes Every time I saw your name, it reminds me of Salamanca, even though they are not related. I might have told you this before, that in Salamanca, Spain, a university town, there is a stone carved frog, and the legend says if you can find it, it brings you good luck on exams. That turned out to be true for my DS.

Wait guys is the decision supposed to be out yet?
I submitted my app along with my ACT scores on December 17,2018, and until last night that was the date. Last night it changed to December 20, 2018 which is 3 days after I sent Stanford my official ACT scores. If the date change does reflect anything admissions based, there are too many people with March/February changes for that to be what determines acceptance/rejection. Honestly, all I think the date change really means is that a decision was uploaded.

Since Ivy Day was yesterday, I can see from those results there was no correlation for those 8 schools; I highly doubt Stanford is unique in that respect.I wish you all the best of luck
Portal changed to 2/28 a while ago and since then nothing . I know this is dumb and we’ll find out in two hours but its killing me!!
Mine changed on 2/27…that’s the earliest I’ve seen. Probably not very good, though considering I got no acceptances last night. It is what it is. We’ll find out soon.

Guys, decisions literally release in an hour. Let’s just be patient instead of fixating on a portal change that was probably just a glitch.
Honestly looking forward to seeing genuinely what happened with the portal.
The only reason I can think of their modifying the dates is the preparation of archiving the data of rejected applicants. For those admitted, they need to keep the records intact because they need to look at them in the future.
