Congratulations to every one who got in! It was a hectic journey and I’m not sure how to feel getting rejected from all universities.
Well time to search for some cheap state university
@ jordanheston Congratulations
@ jordanheston could I DM you too to get some more insight by any chance?
@jordanheston Hello! Could I dm you regarding your essays? Thank you!
@kornellkhannell Sure, DM me.
D rejected (no portal change). She’s not bummed about it because her heart is somewhere else. Congratulations to all who got accepted. Keep your head up to all who got rejected or waitlisted. You’ll go to college somewhere. People keep telling my daughter that it doesn’t matter where you go for undergrad… the prestige of your grad schools matters most. Don’t know how true this is, but for my D, life goes on.

Somewhat off-topic question, but how does everyone seem to know essay or rec letter grades? I see people listing 8s or 10s, but where are these numbers coming from? Far as I know, my D hasn’t seen any of her teacher rec letters so ho would she know if they were 10s or not?.
Your boi got in. I can’t believe it, I just spent the last hour and 20 minutes screaming.
Congrats to everyone who got in, and my absolute best wishes to those who are still looking at their options. Hang in there!!
@curlybirdie, I believe Stanford decided not to publish their acceptance rate this year. I hear Harvard (usually the closest) was 4.5% this year, so I would assume Stanford would be just a little lower, going by the last several years’ results.
