Accepted after Deferral (utterly speechless!)
International Applicant (did not have application checklist after deferral)
SAT: 1440
TOEFL: 113
For future applicants who have SAT scores below the average score for Stanford just like me, never lose hope! I personally believe essays are the most prominent element of your application!
I got rejected from quite a number of schools so I’m eternally grateful that I got accepted to my dream school as my last college decision! Keep grinding, send your love & positive energy to your dream school and things might eventually surprise you!
For those who didn’t get in, always keep in mind that all of you are incredibly amazing people! College decisions don’t define who you are as a person. Keep grinding and stay positive whichever amazing school you choose to go to!

I am legally blind, para-alpine skier, competed at the 2018 Paralympic Games in South Korea.
My recc letters were great and my essays even better (especially for Stanford, these were my best). Supplement for Wharton was done in 10 min on the last day whilst I worked on my Stanford essays for weeks.
Harvard prize award during junior year and some others.
Just let me know if you need more info!
@Dataminer thanks for the info but I’m sure there’s more because that’s not nearly enough to get in. My school has limited AP classes and a lot of required classes that are “on-level” courses so I can’t have State Scholar but I have a national leadership position in a major volunteer organization (American Red Cross) and National AP Scholar- I didn’t get accepted. I’m trying to figure out what else I can do if I want to transfer somewhere else sometime in college so any other info would be appreciated
